Xiaomi's upcoming Redmi 9A will have a Helio G25 chipset, 5000mAh battery

Xiaomi is soon expected to refresh its entry-level smartphone lineup with the Redmi 9A. While there is no word yet on exactly when the entry-level phone will break cover, its key specs have now been confirmed courtesy of Xiaomi's latest product brochure for the Philippines market (via GizGuide).
The brochure reveals the Redmi 9A will have a 6.53-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch at the top. Under the hood, Redmi 9A will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 chipset. It will have a 13MP camera at the rear and a 5MP camera for selfies on the front. Like its predecessor, the Redmi 9A will also pack a huge 5,000mAh battery.
In addition to the Redmi 9A, the brochure also confirms a few other upcoming Xiaomi products, such as the Mi TV Stick and the Mi Outdoor watch. As revealed by a recent leak, the Mi TV Stick will have Chromecast built-in and Google Assistant support.
Since Xiaomi has now officially confirmed that the Redmi 9A is "coming soon," we can expect the phone to be announced within the next few weeks. Apart from the Philippines, the Redmi 9A is also expected to be launched in markets like India and China.
