Amazon is offering TP-Link's Kasa Smart Plug Lite on sale for just $12.99. It's never dropped this low before on its own, though we have seen this price offered with a coupon once before. This deal is perfect if you want to smarten up an appliance in your home without breaking the bank and you can save even more with the 2-pack of Lite plugs, which is down to $24.99 currently.

The Smart Plug Lite allows you to turn your electronics on or off from anywhere in the world using the free Kasa app for your iOS or Android device. You'll be able to see if you left something on while you're away from home, or schedule a device to turn on just before you arrive back from a trip. These mini plugs are great too because they're small enough where you can plug two into the same wall receptacle, unlike other bulkier smart plugs which obstruct the unused outlet.

These smart plugs are also capable of being voice controlled when synced with a device featuring Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, or Microsoft Cortana, such as the Amazon Echo Dot. There's also a feature allowing you to control multiple devices at once.

The Lite model supports appliances up to 12A so is great for lamps, speakers, fans, coffee machines, and the like. For higher power devices, you'd need the 15A Smart Plug Mini instead.
