Introduce dad to new tech with Amazon's huge Father's Day sale on smart devices and more
Father's Day is just around the corner, and if you haven't picked out a gift yet, you're running out of time to do so. Luckily, Amazon is here to save the day with a huge Father's Day Sale, offering discounts on nearly all of its devices. Skip the tired tools and gag gifts and save money on something Pops will use every day.
If the concept of a smart home is new to your father, he might love the Echo Dot 3rd-Generation Smart Speaker. Today it is $20 off, falling from $50 to $29.99. That 40% price drop is on-par with deals we saw for Black Friday and Cyber Monday last year. You can also choose to bundle it with various accessories if you wish, which will alter the price tag, but still makes for a nice deal. This smart speaker is super easy to set up and offers a slew of benefits. Ask Alexa for the weather, play music with bigger and better sound, control compatible lights and thermostats, and more, all with just a few spoken words. Is today a good day for grilling out? Did the Raptors win? How many teaspoons are in a tablespoon? Ask and you shall receive.
If your dad is one to protect his property, how about 20% off a Ring Floodlight Cam? Or if he taught you that "time is money", you could save both with the Echo Wall Clock. Is he always calling you and asking questions about that mysterious entity known as The Netflix? Now he can ask Alexa thanks to the discounted Fire TV Stick 4K.
There are tons more deals available, and of course, this sale also presents a nice opportunity to beef up your own gadget stash. Just make sure you shop before the prices inevitably rise back up!
