As part of the back to school promotion, T-Mobile is handing out the Alcatel OneTouch PIXI 7 tablet to those who take out a new tablet plan with the US carrier. The network will provide you with the PIXI 7 and all you have to pay is sales tax.
While not a high-end tablet, the PIXI 7 would certainly suffice for anyone looking for a backup or something that will be used for general tasks. The PIXI 7 usually retails for $168, has a 7-inch display, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, two VGA cameras and runs Android 4.4.
