Ideally, this camera would not be used as a standalone. You'd want to buy a few of them and connect them to your current SimpliSafe base system. One of these even comes free with the current sale on the SimpliSafe security system. Consider using a couple of these with your system to keep an eye on your entire home.

The camera records everything in vivid 720p resolution with a 120-degree field of view so it can reach a wide area of your property. No one's sneaking up on this thing. It also has night vision so it can pick up motion in low light or no light conditions. The smart motion detection uses sensors that can detect the unique heat signature of humans versus say a curious cat.

Use the SimpliSafe app to see what's happening on your camera at any time. You can stream live video or go with SimpliSafe's cloud recording to save the footage and share clips. If you're worried about your privacy while you're home and the camera's pointed at you, you can use the stainless steel privacy shutter to give you control.

It's super easy to use. All you do is plug the device into the wall and connect it to your Wi-Fi network.
