Star Wars: Squadrons officially revealed, releasing on October 2

Star Wars: Squadrons has been officially unveiled with a trailer showing off teams of New Republic and Imperial pilots. It's being developed by EA Motive, a team that worked on the vehicle portions of Star Wars Battlefront II. According to IGN, There's a single-player campaign and 5v5 multiplayer that will have players fighting for either the New Republic's Vanguard Squadron or the Empire's Titan Squadron.

Star Wars: Squadrons is set to release on October 2, 2020 for Xbox One, PC and PS4 at $40. Players on all platforms can fly togther as there's full cross-play.
Gameplay will be revealed at EA Play Live on June 18.
