Don't worry, Southwest has just extended their booking calendar into March of 2020, so you can already start planning your winter escape. To celebrate the calendar extension, Southwest is offering a 3 day sale good from fall 2019 through winter 2020. Over 4,000 routes are on sale starting at $49 one-way or $98 roundtrip, so there's bound to be a deal you can't live without.

The latest 3 day sale from Southwest offers savings into March of 2020 starting at $78 roundtrip.
Sample flights include Nashville to Altanta from $98 roundtrip, San Francisco to Ontario from $108 roundtrip, Detroit to St. Louis from $158 roundtrip, and Baltimore to Fort Lauderdale from $222 roundtrip.
As always with Southwest, these fares can be your final price because two checked bags, a carry on bag, and a personal item are included. Seating is also included in the price, but all seats are first come, first served, so make sure to check-in exactly 24 hours before your departure time to get the best boarding position. If you prefer a better boarding position, you can upgrade to Early Bird Check-In, which starts at $15 one way and gives you access to check-in 36 hours before departure.
This sale is good from September 10, 2019 until March 4, 2020 for travel on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday. An advance purchase of 21 days is required. Travel to select airports in Florida as well as Las Vegas is available Sunday through Wednesday while travel from select airports in Florida and Las Vegas is available Tuesday through Friday. Blackout dates include November 22, 24, 26-27, 30, and December 1-2, 19-23, 26-31 in 2019, as well as January 1, and January 4-5 in 2020.
