Sony will roll out Android 5.1 to Xperia Z hardware in July, more hardware to follow
Sony has been on quite the update roll as-of-late with updating the Xperia Z range of handsets up to Android 5.0 Lollipop. Once the update rollout has completed, the company will be moving onto Android 5.1, which will hit the Xperia Z family as well as the Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia C3 starting next month.
But Sony isn't done just yet. The announcement also touched on the Xperia M2, Xperia M2 Aqua, noting that both will be directly bumped to Android 5.1. These two smartphones will receive some update love once all above hardware have been updated. Do remain tuned to our feeds and we'll cover the updates as they go live.
