Sony starts selling unlocked Xperia Z3 in U.S.
Sony is now selling the unlocked version of its flagship Xperia Z3 smartphone directly to customers for $679.99. The Xperia Z3 is available in all four colors at the moment from the Sony Store if you don't want to go through your favorite U.S. carrier.
The unlocked Xperia Z3 sold by Sony is a GSM handset with support for a number of LTE bands as well. The phone is expected to head to T-Mobile in the U.S. and is currently available on Verizon Wireless, with the latter sporting the name of Xperia Z3v.
