Small OTA rolling out for the AT&T G Flex, #notKitKat
3.5MB update brings small fixes for calendar sync and future OTA support
LG G Flex users on AT&T need to be on the lookout for a small OTA update this afternoon, as version D95010l is starting to push out.
There are no big changes to be seen, and it's not a version bump to KitKat, but has two very important fixes. The change log in full:
- FOTA enhancement to support future software updates.
- EAS fix to correct issue of calendar not syncing periodically
- Ready2Go Updates
The FOTA (Firmware Over The Air) enhancements will make sure your G Flex is ready for the next OTA update (no speculation on when that will be), and the EAS fix will correct issues users of Exchange email have been having with calendar sync.
Not every update has to be sexy to be important. You'll probably see no differences — unless you use an Exchange calendar — but it's still nice to see LG and AT&T pushing this out versus waiting for a bigger update to roll them into.
