You'll find a lot of the same features in the new TicWatch Pro 4G/LTE as you would in the previous-gen. The physical design keeps many of the same traits. It's made of polymer and glass fiber and has a sleek, stainless steel bezel. It also comes with an aluminum back cover, the same buttons, 22mm straps, and innovative dual-layer display. As for other similarities, you'll have Google Assistant, NFC for Google Pay, 4 GB of internal storage, and it's still powered by the Snapdragon Wear 2100. It's also IP68 water-resistant for pool workouts.

Two major improvements in the Pro 4G concern the RAM and the addition of LTE. The RAM has been boosted from 512MB on the old version to 1GB on the Pro 4G which is a solid step up. The biggest and baddest new feature is — you guessed it — the cellular connectivity that allows you to stay connected using just the watch. It's important to note that it's only available with Verizon as of now and it supports Verizon NumberShare, which enables you to receive calls, texts, and use data anywhere with the Pro 4G. There's also a new SOS feature with 911 auto-dial and location sharing for emergencies.

We reviewed the TicWatch Pro 4G last year, praising its dual-layer display, faster performance, and ability to leave your phone behind for bike rides and watersports.
