Save $50 and upgrade your gaming with LG's 27-inch G-Sync compatible monitor
The LG 27GL650F-B 27-inch 1080p 144Hz Ultragear G-Sync HDR gaming monitor is down to $249.99 on Amazon. The normal street price for this monitor is around $300, although it has gone as high as $350 as recently as early August. We first saw this monitor drop this low earlier in September, but that deal expired and it has been going for around $320 since then. Today's deal is just a nice match in case you missed it earlier.
The 27-inch screen has a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and a 1 ms response time with motion blur reduction. Those are all great stats if you're into fast-paced video games like shooters. Plus, the monitor uses adaptive sync. The default is AMD's FreeSync. If you have one of Nvidia's more recent graphics cards (GTX 10xx or RTX 20xx) and connect via the DisplayPort, you can also use G-Sync. That's important because this is a great deal no matter which way you lean, so it's nice to have the option. Adaptive sync helps reduce screen tearing and remove artifacts.
The other connectivity options in addition to the DisplayPort include two HDMI ports on the back. The monitor supports HDR10 and has extreme color accuracy. While it has a quality stand where the height and tilt can be adjusted, it's also VESA compatible so you can choose to mount it to the wall or to a desktop arm if you want. Users give it 4.2 stars out of 5 based on 370 reviews.
If you don't mind paying around $300, you can upgrade to the LG 34-inch IPS monitor. It's going for $309, which is down from a street price closer to $320. This monitor also has a USB-C Power Delivery port on the back, which offers you some more interesting connectivity options.
