Respond faster to every action with Dell's 24-inch 144Hz monitor on sale for $142
Dell's S2419HGF 24-inch 144 Hz FreeSync 1080p gaming monitor has dropped to $142.49 through Dell. You can get it for around $150 at Walmart, too, but the monitor normally sells for closer to $200. It has actually sold out at many retailers like Amazon. The screen was selling for as high as $230 in February, but today's deal is one of the lowest prices we've ever seen.
This is a relatively new monitor from Dell. It uses a TN panel to get you really fast 1ms response times and a 120 Hz refresh rate that you can overclock to 144 Hz. The native adaptive sync technology is AMD's FreeSync, which is technology that can help you reduce screen tearing especially when playing at high frame rates while gaming. The pixel resolution is a solid 1920 x 1080.
The connectivity options on the monitor include two HDMI 1.4 ports, one DisplayPort, one USB-B upstream port, and two USB-A downstream ports. You'll want to connect the monitor to your graphics card using the DisplayPort. That not only allows you to overclock to reach the 144 Hz refresh rate, but it also lets you use Nvidia's G-Sync tech if you happen to have a Nvidia graphics card instead of AMD. (The graphics card needs to be part of the 10xx or 20xx series to use G-Sync this way.)
You'll also get a three-year warranty from Dell. Users give this monitor 4.1 stars based on 25 reviews at Walmart and 3.8 stars based on 34 reviews at Amazon.
