Red HTC One M8 is official — but only in Taiwan
After leaked pictures outed the device yesterday, HTC has confirmed that the red color variant of the HTC One (M8) is now available for sale in Taiwan. While the manufacturer has not mentioned availability or a launch date beyond Taiwan, HTC global communication manager Jeff Gordon shared a 3D render of the device on Sketchfab, which is all we've got to look at for the time being.
As you can see in the 3D render below, the red color variant looks similar to the 'glamor red' HTC One M7 from last year:
The current location in the render is set to London, which suggests the device could see a UK release. In addition to the red color variant, HTC is also said to be considering a metallic blue version of the One (M8) and a pink edition. Again, it isn't clear which countries these devices will be available in, but the red version has been rumored for Verizon in the U.S..
