OnePlus just divulged additional details of its upcoming OnePlus 11R Solar Red model, and it just gets better and better. The phone will be available in India starting October 8 for just ₹45,999 ($552), or ₹1,000 ($12) more than what the 16GB/256GB version of the device is currently selling for. In return, you get more memory, double the storage, and that gorgeous red hue that's made out of vegan leather.
If that wasn't enough, the OnePlus 11R Solar Red features 150W charging tech, with the battery able to fully charge in just 19 minutes. The rest of the hardware is identical to the standard model, but there's enough differentiation here that if you're eyeing the OnePlus 11R, this is definitely the version to get.
As for when you can get your hands on the device, OnePlus says it's kicking off sales on October 8. The phone will be available on Amazon India, as well as OnePlus' own storefront — where it is already listed — and OnePlus offline stores in India. The manufacturer is kicking off an early access sale on October 7 where it's bundling the OnePlus Buds Z2 to everyone buying the phone a day early.
Like the best OnePlus limited editions, the OnePlus 11R Solar Red will be exclusive to India, and it won't be making its way to other markets. But if you're in the country and are looking to upgrade, this may just be the phone for you. If you want to know more, head to my OnePlus 11R Solar Red hands-on.

TheDiveWatcher Only if you happen to live in India. It’s a shame that big mobile tech companies exclude a large number of their user base. OnePlus is the leading and possibly only china smartphone brand with a large and loyal fan base in the US and they could care less or either Apple has mandated a secret restriction on OnePlus that only Apple and the US government know about. If I had to bet the house it’s probably the latter or possibly the fear of having a huge spike in sales that could irritate Apple and bye bye OnePlus because they were banned. It’s the truth and the truth has never lied. I would have definitely upgraded to the Red 11r. A true tragedy.Reply
