OPPO's Apple Watch clone launches in India for ₹14,990 ($200)

OPPO today launched the global version of the Reno 4 Pro in India, alongside the global version of the OPPO Watch.
The 46mm version of the OPPO Watch features a 1.91-inch dual-curved display with 402 x 476 resolution and 100% DCI-P3 coverage, while the 41mm version has a 1.6-inch AMOLED display. The global version of the OPPO Watch runs on the Snapdragon Wear 3100 chipset and and also includes Ambiq Micro's power-efficient Apollo3 wireless chipset. OPPO claims the 46mm version can provide up to 36 hours of battery life in Smart mode and up to 21 days in Power saver mode.
Thanks to VOOC Flash Charging, it only takes 75 minutes to fully charge the OPPO Watch. The smartwatch also offers heart rate monitoring with 4 optical sensors, 5ATM water resistance, sleep tracking, built-in GPS + GLONASS, guided breathing exercises, multiple workout modes, NFC, and Google Assistant support. Unlike the Chinese version, which runs ColorOS, the global version of the OPPO Watch runs Wear OS.
OPPO has priced the 41mm version of the smartwatch at ₹14,990 ($200) in India, while the 46mm version will cost ₹19,990 ($267). The smartwatch will be going on sale in the country from August 10. The 46mm version of the OPPO Watch comes in Black and Glossy Gold colors, while the 41mm version will be offered in Silver Mist, Black, and Pink Gold.
The OPPO Reno 4 Pro sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a hole-punch cutout for the 32MP selfie camera. The phone is powered by an 8nm Snapdragon 720G chipset, which is paired with up 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage.
The quad-camera array on the back of the Reno 4 Pro includes a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP monochrome sensor. Keeping the lights on is a 4,000mAh battery with support for 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging. OPPO claims it takes just 36 minutes for the Reno 4 Pro to be fully charged. On the software front, the Reno 4 Pro runs OPPO's ColorOS 7.2, which is based on Android 10.
OPPO has priced the Reno 4 Pro at ₹34,990 ($468) in the country, which makes it more expensive than the top-end 12GB/256GB version of the OnePlus Nord. The phone will be available to purchase in India from August via all leading online and offline retailers. OPPO will only be offering two color options at launch: Starry Night and Silky White.
