No Man's Sky Digital Edition is down to $25 just in time for one of its biggest updates yet

The next major update for No Man's Sky is about to reach the game in just a few days, and as luck would have it, the PlayStation Store has the game on sale digitally for only $24.99. That's 50% off its regular price there, though physical copies of the game can more commonly be found around $30 at Amazon.

This game was originally blasted by critics and gamers alike when it was first released, due to poor marketing that promised much more than the game ended up delivering. At a $60 price tag, many people didn't feel it was worth it. Since then however, a ton of new features have been added to the game to try and flesh it out... and now it's available at less than half of its original cost too. If you've ever wanted to just sit back, relax, and fly a ship through space on the search for new planets, this is a game you need to check out.

The latest Beyond update to the game is being promoted as No Man's Sky 2.0, with enhanced base-building, farming, and more, and it'll be available starting August 14.

You'll need a PlayStation Plus membership to access the entirety of this game. If you're not a member just yet, CDKeys is offering $20 off the annual membership while supplies last. Being a member also gains you free game downloads every month and exclusive discounts on the PlayStation Store, so it comes in handy even without No Man's Sky.
