Motorola video shows why you should choose to start with the new affordable Moto E
Motorola has released a new video to highlight the launch of its second generation Moto E. The affordable, yet powerful Android smartphone is priced for those who are simply seeking a rock solid, yet affordable experience or are new to the platform altogether. The 2015 model ensures the Moto E keeps up with the times.
The new edition of the Moto E packs a larger 4.5-inch qHD display (960x540), and when you opt for the LTE version, a quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor (the non-LTE version has a quad-core Snapdragon 200 chip inside). In addition, the Moto E will now be able to shoot selfies with its new front-facing camera, something that was missing from the first version of the phone. There's even Android 5.0 Lollipop along for the ride.
The price is the best part. All of the above for just $149.99. Be sure to check out our hands-on with the 2015 Moto E for more photos and our impressions.
Indian readers would be interested in knowing that the video offers up details of the 2015 Moto E's pricing in India. The device will be available for Rs. 6,999 ($113) in the country for the 3G-only version, with Flipkart the exclusive retailer of choice in India. A launch date wasn't mentioned, but we'll be on the lookout to let you know when Motorola's latest budget handset will make its debut in the country.
