Monoprice's 27-inch 1440p 144Hz gaming monitor has dropped to just $250
The Monoprice MP 27-inch Zero-G 1440p 144Hz gaming monitor is down to $249.99 through the Monoprice website and comes with free shipping. That's important because Monoprice products tend to be great but not on sale because of high shipping costs. The same monitor sells for $320 or more at other retailers like Walmart even though it's still coming through Monoprice as a third party. And that's generally because Monoprice incorporates shipping into that cost.

This deal is coming around because Monoprice has discontinued this model. That's ok because it just means a fabulous screen becomes even more affordable, until this deal expires and then we never see it again. Monoprice's displays are notorious for sacrificing build quality for the sake of amazing image quality. The stand isn't nearly as important as the pixels, though, so just look past that. Plus, it's VESA compatible so you can just mount it and forget about the stand altogether.
You'll get 1440p pixel resolution with a 144 Hz refresh rate, a 1 ms response time, and AMD's FreeSync tech to reduce screen tearing. Even though it's a TN panel, it still has decent viewing angles up to 176 degrees. The connectivity options include three HDMI ports and a DisplayPort.
