MetroPCS offering extra data on select plans, and a deal on the LG Leon
MetroPCS, a prepaid subsidiary of T-Mobile, has a couple of new deals to offer for the summer. This includes an offer for extra high speed data on new lines, as well as a deal on the LG Leon.
Customers activating a new line on either the $40 or $50 per month plans will be able to get 1GB of extra LTE data in addition to the normal allotment for as long as they use MetroPCS. On the $40 plans, customers get bumped up from 1GB to 2GB, while the $50 plan will go from 3GB to 4GB.
MetroPCS is also offering a deal to customers purchasing an LG Leon. Through the end of September, anyone purchasing a new LG Leon can get a new LTE smartphone, along with a plan for 1GB of high speed data, for $59 with a mail-in rebate. This offer was previously available for $79. This offer is only available in stores.
