LG Optimus on T-Mobile to allow Wifi calling?
LG introduced two new devices to its Optimus lineup last week, the Optimus One and the Optimus Chic. They are both international devices that left those of us living in the United States feeling a little left out. However, a phone simply called the Optimus seems to be headed to T-Mobile.
The picture resembles the Optimus One very closely. The specs aren't that far off either, but are adjusted just enough to make them separate.
Here are the rumored specs:
- 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen
- 3.2 MP camera
- 1500 mAh battery
- Android 2.2 (Froyo)
- Portable hotspot
- Ability to make calls using Wi-Fi
Huh what? We were just complaining about how T-Mobile hasn't brought UMA support to Android, and with the Optimus it looks like they have answered our cries. Maybe We've seen specs like this fall apart before.
But overall, an intriging device, especially if it is priced low upon release. [Tmonews]
