Lenovo first showed off what it calls a 'layered smartphone' back in Berlin at IFA 2014, but as we're now well into CES 2015 they're back with another. Say hello to the Vibe X2 Pro, and it wants to be your selfie phone of choice.
It's essentially the same design as the originally Vibe X2 that was unveiled at IFA, but in going Pro this one is bigger, faster and better all round. Inside the Vibe X2 Pro houses a Snapdragon 615 CPU, while out front we get to look at a 5.3-inch 1080p display. Round the back there's a 13MP camera and round the front, there's also a 13MP camera.
The Vibe X2 is being marketed with a lot geared at the selfie, and that's pushed even further with the Selfie Flash Extension. It's basically a small, ring flash that you plug in to the audio jack on the top of the phone to light your beautiful face for that perfect portrait. It uses 8 diffused LEDs and can take 100 shots at a time with its rechargable battery.
Both will be available beginning in April of this year with pricing for the phone and the flash still to be confirmed.
