The Ion Audio portable Bluetooth speaker on sale for $50 works as a PA system

The Ion Audio Sport Go Tailgate portable Bluetooth PA speaker is down to $49.99 at Best Buy. That's $30 off its regular price there and one of the best we've ever seen. This is also part of Best Buy's Deals of the Day, so it won't last forever. If you consider that most of the Ion Audio speakers cost a lot, lot more than this, including versions around $180 and some for more than $400, this is a super affordable option.

The deal given is no longer valid and we do not have a better one. However, we have found some similar deals

This lineup of speakers is designed to be more than just your average "play music and jam" speaker. They are a bit larger than other speakers, but that's because Ion Audio's speakers have two-way audio. Not only can you play your favorite music, but you can also use the speaker as a sort of portable PA system. That makes it a great speaker to use in any crowded scenario where you need both some awesome tunes and your voice to be heard. Use it at pool parties, backyard barbecues, tailgating events, family picnics, and more. Plus, you can use it for more than just talking. Try hooking up a mic for karaoke night and sharing your sweet pipes with the whole room.

The speaker features a four-inch woofer and a wide-dispersion tweeter with high-fidelity audio. You'll also get 20W peak power for a rich, dynamic sound. It also has a huge rechargeable battery that can last for up to 50 hours. Don't need it for that long? Put the battery to use charging your mobile devices thanks to the built-in USB port. And, of course, the speaker has Bluetooth so you can stream from your favorite music apps while charging at the same time.

The speaker is not waterproof, but the case is water resistant. It will be able to stand a splash or two, but I wouldn't go deep diving with it.
