Improve your sluggish PC with a SK Hynix internal SSD for as low as $38
One of Amazon's deals of the day includes a selection of SK Hynix internal solid state drives on sale for as low as $37.99. The price you pay depends on the capacity with the storage varying from 250GB to 1TB. You have three options and all of them are down to the lowest prices we've ever seen. For example, the 250GB version going for $37.99 normally sells for around $50. It has only dropped lower than today's price once, and that was for Black Friday.

Never heard of SK Hynix? That's ok. You're probably using their stuff right now and don't know it because SK Hynix is one of the world's largest producers of semiconducters and memory. It's just most of what they make goes into your phone or MacBook and you never see the name. The Gold S31 SSD is one of their first consumer level products, and these SSDs are really good. Read the Windows Central review where the SSDs earned 4.5 stars and a Recommended badge.
The Gold S31 SSDs are normal SATA drives, so you won't get the same speed of an NVMe M.2 SSD, but then again if you're looking at these you're probably not looking to spend the kind of money you need for an NVMe M.2 drive. As it is, the speed isn't so bad. You'll get sequential read speeds up to 560 MB/s and sequential write speeds up to 525 MB/s.
SK Hynix can make a really reliable SSD because they can use their own 3D NAND and controller to develop it. The SSD is rated for up to 1.5 million hours MTBF (which is Mean Time Between Failures and 1.5 million is a crazy high number) and 600 terabytes written. The SSDs are also backed up by a five-year warranty.
Users give these SSDs 4.6 stars out of 5 based on 493 reviews.
