Hulu's new streaming plan saves college students a massive 65%
One of the best benefits of going to college (other than learning, meeting new friends, and figuring out what you want to do with your life) is that sweet student discount you can score at various retailers and stores. While there are several music streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music, and Tidal which offer membership discounts for students, finding similar discounts on streaming services for TV shows and movies has been a bit more difficult.
Today, Hulu is unveiling a new offer just for students which drops the monthly cost of the ad-supported plan from $5.99 to $1.99. This 65% discount is valid for as long as you're a college student, so make sure to sign up for Hulu now and make the most of this offer while you can.
To snag Hulu's student discount, all you have to do is verify where you go to school through SheerID at Hulu's website. The offer is valid for new and existing Hulu subscribers so you don't have to create a new account if you are already a member. The ad-supported plan gives you access to Hulu's entire library of on-demand television shows and films, including a myriad of original content like The Handmaid's Tale and Veronica Mars, with limited commercial interruptions.
Your Hulu subscription also includes FX on Hulu with over 40+ FX series such as Atlanta, Archer, Sons of Anarchy, Snowfall, Fargo, American Horror Story, and more as well as exclusive FX on Hulu series like A Teacher, Devs, and Dave. Another interesting feature of Hulu is Watch Party. It allows you to watch shows and movies along with up to seven of your friends. There's even a chatroom that appears on the side of the screen though everyone must be a Hulu subscriber to watch and participate.
Hulu is available as an app on Android and iOS devices, as well as smart TVs, streaming media players, and tablets. You can watch via the Hulu website as well or even download it on some smart home devices like the Echo Show 5.
