HTC B2 render leaks online, alleged followup to the J Butterfly
After it was reported that HTC may be working on an HTC B2 for the Asian market, we now have a clear press shot of what the device may look like. The HTC B2 is said to be part of the J Butterfly series and is believed to sport the same specs as the flagship HTC One M8.
From the leaked image posted by @evleaks on Twitter, the device sports similar front-facing BoomSound stereo speakers as the HTC One M8. Additionally, though it's unclear what the back side would look like, it's speculated that the device would retain the glossy plastic of the prior models in the Butterfly range. From our earlier reporting, it looks like the HTC B2 would be limited to Hong Kong, Japan, and Taiwan.
At this point, HTC has not announced the HTC B2 so a lot could change when the announcement happens. In the U.S., the last time that we've seen a Butterfly was on Verizon Wireless in a variant known as the Droid DNA. Since then, Verizon had standardized on HTC's global flagship offerings by providing the HTC One (M7) and most recently the HTC One M8.
