Top-flight Italian football is back this week with the second semi-final clash between Napoli and Internazionale. Don't miss a kick of the action by following our live stream guide below.
The teams come into the second leg following an away win for Napoli in the first leg. That 0-1 game, back in February, was settled by a Fabian Ruiz goal but competitive football in Italy has been on pause in the months since as the nation locked down during the pandemic.
Both teams are vying for a place in the Coppa Italia final set to take place on June 17 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. The winner of this game will face off against Juventus following their victory over AC Milan in the other semi-final matchup.
With the away goal from the first leg, the Azzuri certainly head into tonight's game with an advantage. The team only needs to tie the game tonight in order to progress to the final in Rome. That being said, the home advantage of playing in the San Paolo means relatively little in a stadium without fans. Equally, neither team has kicked a ball competitively since early March so the restart of the Italian cup competition will be a test for both sides.
Though Gennaro Gattuso's men seem poised to progress in the cup, their league position is not terrific. The team currently sits in sixth in Serie A as the league looks to continue from June 20, though the team's form had been on an upswing with seven victories from their last nine games in all competitions prior to the season was put on pause.
Inter sit in third in Serie A, 15 points ahead of their Coppa Italia competition tonight, though Antonio Conte's side faces an uphill battle in order to book a place in the final and must score this evening to avoid being eliminated. Losing the first leg could force the team to push high, leaving them vulnerable to Napoli counter attacks.
The Nerazzurri form had also been poor before the season break with just four wins in their last nine games in all competitions. The long layoff from training and competitive games will also have taken its toll on both sides, so it's difficult to predict the outcome of this game.
