Google Duo now works on all Chromebooks
Google Duo is a seriously great video chat app from Google, and while it's widely available for just about every Android and iOS device, it's strangely been quite limited on Chrome OS. Thankfully, that appears to be changing.
Although Google Duo was previously limited to just a few select Chromebooks, Android Police has reported that the app should now be compatible with all of them. Devices that previously weren't compatible with the app, including the Samsung Chromebook Pus (V1), Asus C302, Acer Chromebook R13, and even Google's own Pixelbook, are now all working just fine.
Reports on Reddit also confirm the news, as does an official support page for the Pixelbook.
If you've ever added Google Duo to a tablet, the setup process is almost the same on a Chromebook. Assuming you've previously logged into Duo on your phone, all you should need to do is log into your Google account and you'll be good to go.
