Were you looking forward to a Ghost of Tsushima release date during State of Play? So were we, but it didn't happen. Instead, we got a short teaser for the anticipated game with a promise of more to come during The Game Awards on Thursday night. Maybe we'll finally get a release date soon.
According to The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley, the trailer that's set to be shown for Ghost of Tsushima will be the longest of the night. He did not, however, indicate if it would be as long or longer than Kojima's nearly 10-minute cinematic of Death Stranding that premiered at The Game Awards 2017.
The Game Awards take place on Thursday, December 12 at 5:30pm PT / 8:30pm ET. It is set to air across "all major digital, social, and gaming platforms around the world." You can view the list of nominees here.
