A few different Roku devices are on sale for a limited time
Having a Roku around can make it much easier to stream your favorite content, and right now, Walmart has a few different models on sale that'll make it easy to pick one up. The most premium model is the Roku Premiere+ 4K HDR Streaming Player, on sale for $39, which is a $10 discount. You can also pick up the Roku Express+ 1080p HD Player or the Roku Express HD for $30 and $27, respectively. Shipping at Walmart is free on orders over $35, though you might also be able to choose free in-store pickup to skip any shipping fees.
For example, the Roku Premiere+ comes with a premium High-Speed HDMI cable to plug into your TV to get started. Once you've connected the device to your home's Wi-Fi network, you'll be able to start downloading apps and streaming content via hundreds of services, from Netflix to Prime Video to HBO and much more. It comes with a voice-activated remote that allows for voice search across the top channels, as well as compatibility with the free Roku mobile app which offers private listening, voice search from your smartphone, and more.
Another great bonus to having a Roku streaming device is all the free TV shows and movies that you can watch on-demand via The Roku Channel at no extra charge. The voice-activated remote also includes quick shortcut buttons to popular streaming services including Netflix, Sling, Hulu, and Vudu.
New Roku owners who activate their device before October 5 can receive 30-day free trials of Showtime, STARZ, and EPIX movie channels. More info can be found here. If you're not sure which is the right Roku for you, be sure to check out this guide on best Roku devices in 2019.
