This is a feature-packed system. It includes a 36-inch 5-channel Vizio sound bar, two rear satellite speakers, and a 6-inch wireless subwoofer. Two of the channels on that sound bar are for Dolby Atmos, which sends sound upwards, bounces it off your ceiling, and creates a truly immersive surround sound experience. It's the sort of thing you've probably only ever heard in a movie theater like when that creepy child voice whispers "All... around... you."
The Vizio has multi-room streaming features that let it connect with other Vizio SmartCast audio devices. If you want a multi-room speaker setup, this is a good way to get it. You can play music everywhere or just use each speaker for its own songs. Manage all of it through the SmartCast mobile app. This feature also makes this sound bar a great system to own if you have or plan on getting one of Vizio's excellent smart TVs, since these also have SmartCast built in.
You'll also be able to use Chromecast, which lets you stream music from popular audio apps like Spotify, Pandora, and others.
The system also has a ton of connectivity options, including HDMI, digital optical, stereo RCA, 3.5mm, and coaxial audio. Mix that with wireless options like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and you should be able to use this with all your devices. You can even control the Vizio with your voice. Just integrate the system with your Google Assistant smart home. Between wired connections, Bluetooth, and voice control, you will have full command over this sound bar.
