AT&T's no-contract subsidiary Cricket Wireless has started a new rewards program. It will offer its customers ways to earn and accumulate points that can be used later to acquire gift cards and more. The company says this is the only rewards program launched by a no-contract wireless carrier.

Cricket has teamed up with mPLUS Rewards to launch the new program:

Cricket Rewards is accessible through the Cricket Rewards app, MyCricket app or Cricketwireless.com website. Customers who sign up can start earning points quickly through Cricket activities like opening and registering an account, adding AutoPay or making on-time payments. They can earn even more by participating in an integrated points-sharing universe that includes over 1,500 mPlus Rewards powered applications and a number of other offers that will be included in the program through social media, events, and sponsorship activities.

The points can be used to get gift cards from retailers like Amazon, GameStop, Old Navy, Sears and others. They can also be used to enter contests and they can even be used to donate to charitable causes.
