Call of Duty: Warzone will soon support 200 players in a limited time mode

If you thought Call of Duty: Warzone was done growing, think again. Today, Activision announced a new limited time 200 player mode that will be included in an update.
This update is scheduled to go live at 11:00 p.m. PT tonight. Verdansk was previously limited to 150 players in a match, so the addition of 50 extra players should shake things up, even for battle royale veterans.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has been a phenomenal success, continuing to sell well and top sales charts months after release. Combined with the free-to-play standalone release of Call of Duty: Warzone, this battle royale just continues to grow with no sign of slowing down.
Call of Duty is an annual franchise, never missing a new entry in a new year. With that said, we've almost hit July 2020, which will be the latest Activision has ever waited to showcase a new Call of Duty title. Prior rumors indicated 2020's game would be called Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, which was suffering from reported development problems.
