Now Best Buy has matched that. If you buy the Nintendo Switch for $299.99 at Best Buy, you'll get a free $30 gift card through the email you used. That's about as good as discounts get for the Switch, and you can use the $30 to get some discounts on games or accessories for the Switch.

The Switch is a great console with a ton of amazing games you can't get anywhere else. I wish I had one. I'd play older games like Breath of the Wild or something new like Super Mario Maker 2. The Switch has the unique ability to be played like a regular gaming console or used as a handheld. That makes it a great device to take with you on road trips or sit on your couch playing on the big screen. The battery life can last up to nine hours, but that will depend on the game you're playing.
