Audible's New Year offer saves you $50 off an annual subscription
If you've been waiting for the right time to get yourself or someone you love an Audible membership, this is it! Through the end of the month, Audible is cutting the price of its yearly membership by $50, bringing its total cost to just $99.50. That'd be like subscribing for just $8.29 monthly instead of its usual $15 per month price. A one-year membership regularly costs $149.50. This offer is not available to current members or customers who have had an active membership within the last 30 days.
Audible even has a challenge running over the course of the next few months which could earn you $20 back! The Audible Challenge just requires that you listen to three audiobooks in full which are at least three hours long each by March 3, and then you'll qualify for a $20 Amazon promo credit! It's sent in March once the challenge ends.
I've recently been getting into Audible myself, and it's interesting how you can experience the same story differently when you hear it as opposed to reading it. With your membership, you'll receive a credit every month which can be used to purchase any audiobook on the site. Many of them cost over $30 without a membership, so you get a lot of value out of just that one credit even. Members also save an extra 30% on additional audiobook purchases so you never have to pay full price for one again. You'll be able to pick two free audiobooks from the rotating Audible Originals section per month as well, which always offers a handful of great options from varied genres.
Audible can be listened to in so many ways from smartphones to tablets to computers, and even using Amazon devices like the all-new Kindle Paperwhite and the Echo Dot. If you've been considering picking up a Kindle lately, now's a better time than most as the latest models are all on sale and up to $45 off.
