The wireless attachment works with both over-ear and on-ear headphones. Basically regular headphones become a headset thanks to the ModMic. It attaches with a magnet and can be removed just as easily. You can even put multiple magnets on multiple headphones and switch between them. The mic uses Qualcomm's aptX low latency tech for superior audio quality that's better than regular Bluetooth headsets. It even has two different modes: one for a uni-directional noise-canceling mic that filters out background noise and one for a more responsive omni-directional recording mode.

The ModMic works with Windows PCs, Macs running OS X, Linux, and the PlayStation 4. It won't work with mobile devices.
