The Alienware 27-inch 240Hz monitor has matched its low price of $350
The Alienware AW2720HF 27-inch 240Hz IPS monitor is down to $349.99 on Amazon. The monitor normally sells for around $450 there, and the next best price elsewhere is $420 through the main Dell website. This price matches the lowest we've ever seen for this monitor, and it's a low we've only seen for big events like Black Friday and Christmas.

This is one of two new Alienware computer monitors announced by Dell back in August. The screens released at a starting price of $1,500 and $600 respectively. In addition to the 27-inch monitor on sale today, the larger 34-inch Alienware screen is down to $999.78 as well. That's not the lowest price we've seen, but it is a new street price and obviously a huge drop from that original $1,500 price.
The 27-inch LED monitor includes a pixel resolution of 1920 x 1080, a native refresh rate of 240 Hz, and a true 1ms response time. It also has a brightness of 350 nits, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. It has a ton of connectivity options as well, including two HDMI ports, one DisplayPort 1.2, one rear USB 3.0 upstream port, two rear USB 3.0 downstream ports, and two more USB 3.0 ports on the front.
The monitor is equipped with AMD FreeSync technology. Connect to the monitor from your AMD graphics card with DisplayPort to reduce screen tearing and blurring during high impact media or gaming. It is also G-Sync compatible, which means you can use Nvidia graphics cards to get the same effect as long as you have a 10xx or 20xx series card.
Thanks to the IPS panel, the screen has 178-degree viewing angles and better color accuracy than other panels. It is wall mountable with the VESA standard and uses Alienware's custom AlienFX lighting.
