For everyone who didn't get to unwrap the gaming laptop of their dreams this holiday season, today's sale on the Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptop at Amazon can bring you the gift you've been hoping for. Today only, this 15.6-inch gaming laptop is on sale for just $669.99. That's a discount of $150 off its regular price, and considering it's already one of the more affordable gaming laptops out there that's worth its pricetag, it's a deal you don't want to pass up if you're looking to buy a new laptop before 2021.

We reviewed this laptop when it came out last year and decided it was a great option for gamers on a budget. We gave it 3.5 stars out of 5 and said "Anyone who wants to get into gaming while keeping costs down can probably look away from the downsides and focus mainly on the price tag and the acceptable performance it will buy you."

It's also our Best Value pick in our roundup of the best gaming laptops because the discrete graphics card gives it great 1080p gaming without breaking the bank.

The specifications for this laptop include a 10th Gen Intel Core i5-10300H processor, 8GB DDR4 RAM that's upgradeable to 32GB, and a 256GB SSD hard drive that can also be upgraded. It comes with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti graphics card to do some high-powered gaming. It also has a 15.6-inch display with 1080p resolution and LED backlighting. It is built with Acer's ComfyView tech that helps reduce reflections, so you can game anywhere.

Other features include a built-in webcam, SD card reader, Bluetooth, and more. You'll get Windows 10 Home for your operating system. One of the things we really liked about this laptop is just how many ports it has. You'll get two USB-A 2.0 ports, one USB-A 3.0 port, a USB-C port, HDMI and a headphone jack. The HDMI port is great if you want to game on a larger screen, and the other ports just give you so much flexibility when it comes to peripherals.
